It may have started off like any regular linage, but lately, the Kardashian family dynamics have been changing, connecting and bringing together ex-fiancés, friends and siblings in the most unexpected of ways.
When Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna hooked up in 2016, the Kardashian family tree became laughable. It was so screwed-up, even Kris Jenner probably had a hard time understanding it…
Rob was engaged to his sister’s ex-boyfriend’s ex-fiance. Sound confusing? Well, things are about to get even weirder. Amber Rose is in the mix, Kanye West is caught up in the craziness, and Blac Chyna and Tyga’s son, Cairo is also involved!
Kim and Kanye were popping out babies yearly until their divorce, and Kylie even expanded the family tree with two kids! Crazy, right?

This isn’t a regular family tree, ladies and gents. This has turned into a twisted and tangled spider-web with friends and exes involved.
So, let’s get this straight….

Robert Kardashian
Age: 59 (deceased)
Ethnicity: Armenian, American
Children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Robert
Robert George Kardashian married Kris Jenner (then ‘Kris Houghton’) in 1978 and together, they gave rise to the famous foursome, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian.
Unfortunately, the couple divorced in 1991, three years before Robert was to defend O.J. Simpson during his murder trial. The Armenian-American was a renowned attorney who ended up winning the controversial case in 1995, throwing him and his family in front of the media and spotlight.
As explained on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Robert and Kris remained extremely close, even throughout their separate marriages, and he sustained a strong relationship with his kids. Sadly, he died in 2003 from esophageal cancer, aged 59.
Kris Jenner
Age: 67

The two families – Kardashians and Jenners – are related through Kris, so this is where all the shenanigans begin.
Kris Mary Jenner, the “momager” and brains behind the iconic family is often seen on the reality show being a mom and manager to her six children.
After divorcing from Robert Kardashian in 1991, the businesswoman married Olympic athlete, Bruce (now Caitlyn) Jenner and together they had the starlets, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Born of Dutch, English, Irish, German and Scottish descent, Kris not only manages the careers of her kids, she also runs her own production company, Jenner Communications, has written books, and was the executive producer on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner

Bruce Jenner was a renowned Olympic athlete who famously transitioned into a woman at the age of 65. Caitlyn (then Bruce) married Kris Jenner in 1991 and had Kendall and Kylie.
Caitlyn also has four other children with two previous wives, Body Jenner, Brandon Jenner, Burt Jenner and Cassandra Marino.
The sportstar regularly made appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians until her split from Kris in 2015, shortly before her transition. Following her divorce with Kris, Caitlyn had her own reality show as well as a memoir which portrayed Kris negatively. Although her relationship with the Kardashians went downhill at the time, it seems Caitlyn has now mended the broken bridges with the famous family.
Kim Kardashian

To fix Kim’s controversial reputation, her mom launched Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and since then, the reality star’s career has gone from strength to strength. Kim has since launched her KKW makeup range, a shape-wear range and become a lawyer.
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock the past few years, you’re aware that Kim married Kanye in 2014. They had four gorgeous kids together – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm West, and after six years of a happy marriage, the duo shockingly divorced in 2021.
Kanye West

Kanye is one of the best-selling male artists in the world, having released hit singles including Stronger and Gold Digger. Following the unfortunate death of his mother, he went on a downward spiral and caused a lot of controversy in the headlines.
He famously dated model, Amber Rose and after years of friendship and chasing the star, he finally married Kim Kardashian.
The rapper proposed to Kim in San Francisco’s AT&T park (as seen on Keeping Up With the Kardashians), wedded in Florence and moved on to grow their own family together until their divorce in 2021.
The Kardashian/West Kids
North West is Kim and Kanye’s first child, born in 2013. Even though Kim’s first pregnancy was a real struggle, the famous couple went on to have another child, Saint West, born in 2015.
Kim and Kanye were eager to grow their family tree, but due to pregnancy complications, Kim had their third child via surrogacy. Cutie, Chicago was born in 2018.
Kimye’s children are often mocked for their unusual names, but by the time the fourth child came along, we were pretty unbothered by their monikers. Psalm West, also born via surrogate joined the family tree in 2019.
Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney is the oldest Kardashian sibling, known for being a devoted mother to her three children, a fashion icon, and businesswoman. While the star has brandished her wild and funny side on the show, she still comes across as the most ‘serious’ Kardashian, so much so that she quit the reality show in early 2020 to spend more time with her kids (but soon starred on The Kardashians two years later).
The Instagram fave graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Spanish before her rise to fame in the reality TV industry. Before starring on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kourtney also had a role on the 2005 series, Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive.
Kourtney was in a long-term relationship with Scott Disick from 2006 to 2015, whom they had three gorgeous kids together, Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick. She’s now married to Travis Barker, lead drummer of the band Blink-182 and is pregnant with her fourth child.
Scott Disick

Any Kardashian show wouldn’t be the same without Scott Disick, a.k.a., ‘the Lord’. Although he and Kourtney split in 2015, the funny guy has remained as a regular on the family’s shows, showing fans how much of a devoted father he is.
Throughout the 13-year-run of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we saw Scott face many ups and downs from his hilarious moments, to the death of his parents and struggle with alcoholism.
Outside the popular show, Scott is also a property developer and had his own reality series, Flip It Like Disick.
The Kardashian/Disick Kids
Kourtney and Scott welcomed the first grandchild of the Kardashian family in 2009. Mason is the oldest of his siblings which include Penelope, who came into the world in 2012, and Reign, born in 2014.
The Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend are often shown co-parenting their kids on the show. In fact, this family may have put a new meaning to the term, as they were portrayed raising their kids amicably with their exes.
Travis Barker

Kourtney Kardashian’s latest beau is none other than Blink-182’s drummer, Travis Barker. The latest lad to join the Kardashian family got with Kourt in January 2021 and by October that year, they were engaged to be married and finally wedded in May 2022. In fact, the duo were neighbors in the past and their kids have been lifelong friends.
Dubbed “punk’s first superstar drummer” by Rolling Stone, Travis has been part of the famous pop rock band since 1998. He also had his own reality show (Meet the Barkers) back in 2005 and founded clothing company Famous Stars and Straps and LaSalle Records. Travis has two children with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, and is currently expecting his first baby with Kourtney.
Khloe Kardashian

Khloe is the youngest Kardashian sister, and perhaps the most favored (among fans) for being a straight-talker and full of energy.
Other than KUWTK and The Kardashians, she has had more TV stints including Kocktails with Khloé and Revenge Body. Khloe was also the judge on The X Factor U.S., had her own radio show, released a book, and owns a denim company.
Khloe was once married to basketball player, Lamar Odom but she filed for divorced in 2013. She then went on to date another basketball player, Tristan Thompson, whom she has had two children with – True (born in 2018) and Tatum (born in 2022).
It wasn’t long before the duo split up, though. Tristan was accused of cheating multiple times, and one of his mistresses was Kylie’s BFF – Jordyn Woods!
Tristan Thompson
Age: 32

Other than being tied to the Kardashians, Tristan is mainly known as a NBA basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He began dating Khloe in mid-2016 and they welcomed their first baby, True Thompson in 2018.
While Khloe was pregnant with her daughter, the couple were rocked by several cheating scandals which involved Tristan hooking up with Jordyn Woods (Kylie Jenner’s best friend).
Following the devastating rumors, Khloe split from Tristan; they co-parented amicably, but then rekindled their romance late 2020. In 2021, the pair broke up again after more cheating rumors circulated. But they soon reunited and had their second baby, before splitting up once more in 2022.
The Kardashian/Thompson Kids
Khloe and Tristan’s first-born, True, was born in 2018, with her birth being filmed for all to see on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The sweetheart is regularly spotted on Khloe’s Instagram feed wearing the cutest outfits and having fun with her BFF cuzzies.
Her baby brother, Tatum, entered the Kardashian family in 2022 via surrogate.

Rob Kardashian

Rob is the youngest Kardashian sibling who has been MIA from the spotlight for the past few years due to anxiety and depression. Before choosing to stay out of the limelight, Rob was a huge part of KUWTK, and even starred in 2011’s Dancing With The Stars, and was a judge in the 2012 Miss USA pageant.
Throughout the show (and later on his spin-off) we had a peak into Rob’s love life, from dating Adrienne Bailon, to hooking up with famous model, Blac Chyna. Rob began dating Blac and they had beautiful baby Dream in 2016. The duo later split in the summer of 2017.
Everything makes sense right now, eh? You’d be surprised to learn however, that it was Chyna who helped put the krazy in the Kardashian Jenner family tree. How?

Although Blac Chyna split from Rob years ago, her presence in the Kardashian family tree still lingers (and twists and turns).
Blac rose to fame after starring as a Nicki Minaj double and being name-dropped in Drake‘s Miss Me single. Since then, the controversial celeb has done a number of magazine appearances, launched a makeup brand, and erm, joined and jumbled the Kardashian family.
So where does the krazy begin?
Let’s break things down…
Tyga
Age: 33
Ethnicity: African, Jamaican, Vietnamese, American
Children: King Cairo
From 2011 to 2014, Blac Chyna and rapper, Tyga were a thing. This is the same Tyga that Kylie Jenner once dated (we’ll get to that later). He and Blac had a son together named King Cairo in 2012 and got engaged, too.
At this moment in time, the Kardashians and Jenners were never even thought of…
In 2014, Tyga and Blac split up. That same year, he began dating (then) 17-year-old Kylie. The rapper was slammed by the public for hooking up with a teen and Blac even started an open war with Kylie on Instagram…
Kylie and Tyga broke up in 2017 but that hasn’t stopped the family tree from being super krazy. Things got messy when Blac started dating Kylie’s brother, Rob.
Did she do it to get back at Kylie? Was Blac deliberately trying to grate on Tyga’s nerves? Whatever the case, it looks like the celebrity world is really small…
Tyga and Kylie broke up for good in the summer of 2017, but the family tree continues to get weirder by the day.

Dream Kardashian and King Cairo
We didn’t forget about sweet Dream and King Cairo (who, let’s face it, is part of the tree, now).
In 2016, Blac and Rob’s baby girl was born, giving a little sister to King Cairo. Oblivious to her parents’ rocky relationship, Dream Renée Kardashian looks to be living the dream in her family’s Instagram snaps.
Rob and Blac have dual custody of their daughter.
So, wait a minute…
*Let’s take it back to when Tyga and Kylie were a couple.*
Kylie is Rob’s sister and Rob was engaged to Cairo’s mom – did that make Tyga an uncle to his own son?! This ultimately made Dream not only half-siblings with King Cairo, but cousins, too!
Mind-blown, yet? Are you catching our drift? The drama doesn’t end there.
Amber Rose

Just when you thought the relationships in the Kardashian family tree couldn’t get any more twisted, this blast from the past stirs things up a little more. Keep in mind that Blac Chyna and Amber Rose are best friends and Amber Rose is Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend. In fact, things were real serious between them.
You all know Kanye and Kim were married with kids. Kim is Rob’s sister -Blac is Rob’s ex-fiance – Amber is Blac’s BFF.
This means Kim and Amber have no choice but to run into each other during family occasions like Dream’s birthday parties! Here’s to hoping we’ll get an E! Special!
From now on, Kim might have to face her ex-husband’s ex-girlfriend because Amber’s BFFs with her brother’s ex-fiance! Talk about AWKWARD!

Kylie Jenner is the youngest sibling of the entire Kardashian-Jenner clang and possibly the next most popular after her sister, Kim.
Other than undergoing a shocking transformation (those lips and booty came outta nowhere!), Kylie has been announced as the youngest self-made billionaire thanks to her endeavors including Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin.
After splitting from Tyga in 2017, she began dating another rapper, Travis Scott. That same year, news leaked that 20-year-old Kylie Jenner and Travis were expecting their first child. The pair also welcomed their second baby (Aire Webster) in 2022, but they sadly broke up the following year.
Travis Scott
Age: 32

Children: Stormi, Aire
Travis Scott is one of the biggest rappers in the game, having released smash hits including Sicko Mode and Pick Up the Phone. The star gained further worldwide attention when he started his romance with Kylie Jenner and after their baby girl, Stormi Webster was born.
The popular couple broke up in 2019, continued to co-parent their baby girl, and later reconciled in 2021. They then had their baby boy in 2022, but went their separate ways again a year later.

Kylie hid her entire pregnancy from the public and only unveiled her little secret once her baby girl was born. Stormi entered the world in 2017, and it’s safe to say, Kylie’s world has been brighter since.

Kendall was Bruce and Kris’ first baby and is well-recognized for her fruitful model career. The young star has walked the runways for Versace, Burberry, Tom Ford and more, and was the world’s highest-paid model in 2018.
The reality star is the only Kardashian-Jenner sister to generally keep her private life low-key. It has been rumored that Kendall’s had relationships with the likes of Harry Styles and Ben Simmons, but was most recently in a long-term relationship with Devin Booker. She’s now dating singer/rapper Bad Bunny.
It really is difficult keeping up with the Kardashians. Their family drama is more intense and screwed up then Romeo and Juliet’s! It’s safe to say Rob and Chyna’s engagement and baby is one of the best plot twists of all time. Who knows what’s coming next…
We just need Amber Rose to hook up with Scott Disick and have a kid together, just to make this mess A WHOLE LOT messier!
