Selena Gomez has had her fair share of ups and downs these past few years, from enduring a kidney transplant, to revisiting an old flame with Justin Bieber.
Now that Bieber has a wife, it’s safe to say that the Jelena ship has officially sailed – but who has Selena been getting cozy with since?
Here we dive into Selena Gomez’s dating history, which actually includes other men – besides Justin (shocker, we know).
Ex: Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas may be Miley Cyrus’ ex-boyfriend, but yes, Selena Gomez also had a go at the famous singer. In 2008, the teen stars shared a relationship for a few months, sending both their fans into a frenzy.
They only went on one date in Central Park, but it was a date that Nick Jonas will forever be trolled for. He told Selena that she should “walk 25ft” behind him, so the press wouldn’t report that they were dating. A first love gone wrong.
Years down the line and Selena has explained that Nick was “puppy love. It was very sweet. He’s lovely. I do have a love for him for sure.”

Selena’s relationships sure have always been hot news. When she briefly dated Twilight heartthrob, Taylor Lautner, the constant paparazzi killed their affair before it really started. The Jelena love story grabbed the hearts of the nation, and it all started in 2010 when the pair were spotted at IHOP eating pancakes together. They then attended numerous events together before confirming that they were a couple.
In 2014, however, the pair had a huge argument at Coachella over photos of Kylie Jenner on Justin’s phone. Yet, the lovebirds couldn’t stay apart for too long; just a few months later, they were back to being Jelena again (yay!), but split for (what we thought was) good in 2015.
After Selena’s kidney transplant, the famous couple rekindled their old flame, but not even a year later, they called it quits (for good this time) before Justin dated and married Hailey Baldwin.

Although there’s no confirmation that Selena and Zayn dated, rumors did fly that the pair hooked up in 2012, while Taylor Swift was also seeing his bandmate Harry Styles at the time. In 2016, Justin Bieber even accused Selena of “cheating” on him with Zayn during one of their feuds.

During her break-up with Justin, Selena was also linked to another boyfriend – her Wizards of Waverly Place co-star, David Henrie. According to close friends, however, the pair weren’t actually dating and were just hanging out as mates.

During her split with Bieber, Selena showed interest in actor, Orlando Bloom. While some believe this was an attempt for the pair to make their exes Justin and Miranda Kerr jealous, they seemed quite into each other. This relationship also caused a fistfight between Justin and Orlando in 2014 at a club in Ibiza.
A few years later, Selena and Orlando met in a club in Vegas and seemed extremely cozy, although the actor was dating Katy Perry at the time. Nothing further came from that story and the pair haven’t been spotted together since.

Selena briefly dated fashion executive, Samuel Krost amidst the Fyre Festival bonanza. Krost confirmed this by posting-and-deleting the following on Instagram: “Selena is a real girl with a real heart and real feelings. All you superficial who are just unhappy with your love lives understand that love is real. Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel.”
In 2019, the pair were spotted hanging out and Selena was seen sporting some of Krost’s clothing. She then took to Instagram to confirm that she’s very much still single.

Remember the clip of Charlie saying “F**k you Justin” during a concert in 2016? That was clearly linked to his short-lived romance with Selena which involved a lot of hanging out together.
Despite the pair trying to deny rumors of their relationship, Charlie admitted years later that it was true, during an interview with Billboard saying that the relationship was “very short-lived, very small, but very impactful. Online that she had been on “a few dates with Jimmy and thinks he’s a great guy.” Turns out, this hook-up was a completely fabricated story, because PopCulture reported that any photos of the duo together were merely “photoshopped”.

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but nothing came about of this relationship thereafter. Selena and Andrea have been linked together in the past, however, and she did star in his movie In Dubious Battle, so maybe there was a secret little fling going on!

In a story in which she quickly deleted, Sel captioned a photo of a mountain, “I like being alone too much”, along with the hashtag, “#iamsingle.”

Could it be? Is it true? Has Selena got her hands on a former One Direction boy? This scoop may very well be true, folks, and we’re freakin’ excited!
TikTok user Klarissa Garcia revealed in a video that Selena Gomez and Zayn were out together displaying PDA at a New York restaurant. Sharing messages from a friend who is a hostess at a celebrity hot spot, the friend wrote, “Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked into [restaurant] hand in hand making out and I seated them.”
There are no official photos of this rumored outing, but we have all the reason to believe that Zayn is indeed dating our girl. He only follows 18 people on Instagram, and she happens to be one of them; and let’s not forget that Selena chose Zayn when asked in 2013 which member of One Direction she would pick for a kiss.
This former Disney star has been looking for her prince-charming for quite a while now, and we have high hopes that he’s in the form of Zayn Malik.
