Miley Cyrus’ Pets – A Complete List of Her Animals

[ad_1]

Miley is a renowned animal lover who even started a trend of having a micro-pig as a pet. With so many passing through her hands, it’s hard to keep up with the beloved pets she’s owned.

In fact, during Miley’s relationship with Liam Hemsworth, the pair were said to have owned a personal zoo of 14 animals!

When she’s not busy twerking or wagging her tongue, this controversial star lets her hair down and chills with her sweet dogs, cats, and yes, horses.

Want to know more about the popstar’s fur babies (and scaly ones, too)? We’ve rounded up a list of Miley Cyrus’ pets, including those who sadly passed away and those who are still purring and pawing around her home…

Mary Jane

Miley had a special relationship with her Pitbull Mary Jane who sadly passed away in 2021 due to cancer. Having had MJ since she was young, Miley’s late dog suffered for over a year with numerous tumors, so the Plastic Hearts singer savored every moment that she had with her.

“When it came to my ANGEL Mary Jane…never once did I forget the gift I had been given,” the star disclosed. She even released a song in honor of MJ, called Mary Jane 5EVR and got a tattoo of her adorable face.

Penny Lane

In 2012, Miley and her sister Noah added yet another pup to their brood, naming her Penny Lane. With a name inspired by The Beatles song, this super-cute canine was adopted on Thanksgiving.

It’s not clear what happened to little Penny Lane, but she may have later been taken in by Noah Cyrus, instead.

Floyd

Miley’s fluffy Alaskan Husky named Floyd was her self-proclaimed favorite pet, but the gorgeous dog sadly got killed by a coyote in 2014.

She took to Twitter after the incident to announce his passing to her fans by saying, “I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real…But my precious baby Floyd has passed away.” She added, “I am broken.”

Emu

Following the death of her beloved doggy Floyd, Miley added Emu Coyne Cyrus into her canine family in 2014. Writing on Instagram, the popstar said, “…We had a very special memorial service for Floyd and I felt my angel Floydy give Emu his blessing. I prayed to Floyd to just give him a touch of his awesomeness and he has…”

This darling doggie is apparently named after Miley’s friend and collaborator Wayne Coyne. She loves her Sheepdog so much that she even has a tattoo of her fur baby on her arm.

Lila

Miley’s cute Yorkie mix pup ended up with a fatal wound after Miley’s other dog injured her – and unfortunately, she didn’t survive. Once again, the singer announced her “sweet baby girl’s death” on social media, saying her “heart has never been so broken”.

Ziggy

Given to her ex Liam as a gift, Ziggy was a dog Miley shared with her former husband. Unfortunately, the doggy was the cause of Lila’s death, so following the tragic incident, Miley gave him away in order to avoid further harm to her pet family.

Moonie

Moonie was the ideal handbag dog, gifted to Miley by her mother Trish after Lila passed away, but the pop princess didn’t own her for long. She decided to give her away as she wasn’t ready for another dog, and was scared of having one so “tiny”.

Happy

Happy is another rescue dog that Miley adopted with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth after they found him behind a Walmart in 2012. “I don’t understand how people can be so cruel. That’s why we named him Happy”, Miley wrote on Twitter about the Rottweiler-Beagle mix.

Since their split, Miley has taken custody of hers and Liam’s animals, so Happy currently lives in the superstar’s home…

Pumpkin and Dumplin

We don’t know much about Miley’s horses other than the fact that they were owned by herself and Liam during their relationship. The singer’s Pet Fandom page has also named them ‘Pumpkin’ and ‘Dumplin’, which sounds very Miley, so we can only assume that’s facts.

Bean

Miley’s a proud dog mom! The adorable “burrito” baby joined Miley’s family in 2013. She introduced the dear Chihuahua mix to the world via Twitter, gushing “Meet Bean”, and even once dressed him up as a hot dog, making us all swoon over the little pup.

Milky

Milky was adopted by Miley and Liam in 2015, but caused quite a stir with fans after the star drew on the canine with colorful pens. The pup appeared on Miley’s feed with a green marker pen on his head and green nail polish on his claws, leaving commenters in a furry fury.

Keke

In 2015, Miley also adopted the purrfect fluffy cat, Keke. She claimed she rescued the cat from a messed up situation and thanked her vets for bringing her back to health as she posed in a selfie with the cute kitty.

LiLo

Along with Keke, the pop princess adopted LiLo at the same time. Outraged at how people treat their pets, Miley took to social media to express her anger at LiLo’s previous owners.

Shanti Om Bb

Along with Keke and Lilo, Miley has a cute fluffy white cat called Shanti. This adorable fluff ball is so purrfect-looking that she even has her own Instagram page! With a cute face like that, it’s well-deserved, kitty, well-deserved.

Pablow

Other than dogs and cats, she’s also owned a fish! Pablow the Blowfish was once apart of Miley Cyrus’ animal household and meant so much to her, that following his death, she sang a song about him.

The lyrics included, “How can I love someone I never touched/ You lived under the water but I love you so much…You’ve never been on land and you’ve never seen the sky/ You don’t know what a could is/ Why does everything I love have to die?”

She also got a tattoo of her late fishy friend.

Pig Pig

Pig Pig was originally called ‘Bubba Sue’, but then had a change of name before she sadly passed away in 2019. Despite her loss, Miley has plenty of fond memories with her piggy – especially when she dressed her up as bacon for Halloween. In fact, the singer turned vegan the very same year she adopted Pig Pig!

Puddles

Growing the list of Miley Cyrus’ animals is none other than this snorting cutie! Miley also raised another pig called Puddles, whom she also dressed in fancy outfits and painted her nails – how adorable!

Harlem

One of the many feline friends in Miley’s home goes by the name ‘Harlem’. This black and white kitty may or may not have been responsible for a vicious cat scratch on Miley that she photographed on social media in 2016.

Barbie

Miley has a cute little Beagle called Barbie who she often calls ‘Little Dog’. However, this floppy-eared sweetie almost had a near-death experience whilst on the set of The Voice with Miley.

The little pooch apparently chewed through cables and got electrocuted,  but as Miley revealed in an interview, the incident was handled, and the dog is “totally thriving and fine”. Thank the puppy Gods!

Dora

Dora the cute Labradoodle was also a rescue pet that Liam and Miley shared together, and as soon as they welcomed her into their home, they took to Instagram to share cute snaps of the dog.

Tani

Tani the mix-breed Pitbull was originally Liam’s dog that Miley quickly became obsessed over. The celeb couple fell so hard for the pooch that Liam proclaimed Tani was the true love that he instantly fell in love with – how cute!

Bo Cyrus

To avoid loneliness during the Coronavirus lockdown in 2020, the songstress adopted Bo, a Shepard mix, and what a sweetie she is!

Named after her dad’s high-school nickname (Billy Ray Cyrus), the popular star rescued the dog from The Wagmor Luxury Spa, Hotel and Rescue after the owners released the pooch to the shelter due to a loss of income and not being able to fund her.

Kate Moss

A few months later, Miley felt doggy withdrawal symptoms and so she also adopted Kate Moss (a Bulldog) from the Wagmor Rescue, who had previously been abandoned at a fire station and “never knew love”.

Miley shared a darling photo of the two doggies on her feed (scroll right) for all her fans to see. We have to admit, Kate does have model-like features…

Angel

After her Pitbull Mary Jane died, Miley introduced a new Pit to the family and named her ‘Angel’. Alongside a post of her brand new pup, Miley poured her heart out, saying that Angel was sent to her by the late Mary Jane (cue the tears).

She said, “I am head over heels in love. Not sure I will ever sleep again because I can’t take my eyes off of her!…It’s pretty cool having an Angel on a leash! She is illuminated by the aura of the late and great Mary Jane. Long live love. It never dies.”

Apparently, poor Angel was “sleeping on concrete in a shelter for 3 months” before Miley adopted her.

As you can see, Miley is content with her house being filled with pets, leaving little room for another romance in her life!
