Since their rise to fame on the hit reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, their lives have been an open book.
We’ve witnessed all of the Kardashians’ ups and downs – from Kourtney’s cat fights and pregnancies, Kim’s failed relationships and business ventures, to Khloe’s dark times of heartache and hilarious antics.
While most of the scoop is generally known by fans of the show, surprisingly, there are still plenty of fun (and not-so-fun) Kardashian facts that aren’t covered on television.

1. Kim Has a Clause in her Will to Always be Glammed
In a video interview with Elle, Kim revealed that she has a clause in her will to ensure she receives full glam if she’s unable to do it herself.
So, if the iconic star can’t get out of bed or is “out of it” and “can’t communicate”, she wants to make sure that her nails, hair and makeup are vibing.
2. Kim and Khloe Have Major OCD
Although Kim has a cleaner who tidies her house three times a week, she admitted that she tends to go over the cleaning to make sure everything is done properly. She also can’t get into a shower, unless it is spotless and even has food delivered in freezer bags to ensure that the food is separated.
Khloe changes her bed-sheets every two days, and makes sure everything in her fridge is lined properly and looks organized. We even saw the star meet with a therapist to fight her battle with KloOCD on the show.
3. The Family *Might* Carry a Curse
There are many – precisely, haters – who believe that any man who comes close to the Kardashian sisters will suffer a wave of bad luck.

4. Kim Regrets Her Adult Tape
Who wouldn’t, right? Indeed, Kim disclosed during the Keeping Up With The Kardashians Reunion that she regrets her adult tape with Ray J, mainly because of her children.
“That is something that I have to live with for the rest of my life. That is something that is being held over my head. I try to not live with any regrets, but it’s probably the one thing I wish didn’t exist. If I could erase any of the stupid things I’ve done in life, that’s probably it and it’s more so from being a mom than anything.”
5. Kourtney and Kendall Had Unexpected First Jobs
Before the Kardashians became famous, they had unexpected first jobs – a far cry from their current professions.
Kourtney’s first job involved working behind the scenes. The eldest Kardashian was hired as a production assistant and spent her days shouting “action” and “rolling”.
Kendall’s first job was dog-walking at the age of 14!
6. Khloe Had a Terrifying Car Accident
This fact has remained quite disclosed by the famous family. Apparently, back in 2001, the middle Kardashian had a horrifying car accident, where she went flying through the windshield.
It was so bad that she suffered brain injury and has a lapse of memory because of it.
7. They Get Paid $25,000 for a Social Media Post
This interesting trivia explains why the Kardashians are so darn rich! Believe it or not, the Kardashian/Jenner family get big bucks to promote products on their social platforms.

8. Kim and Kourtney Keep Ex Boxes
The Kardashians are famous for their crazy antics, but Kim and Kourt have taken it to new extremes, by revealing that they keep boxes full of items that remind them of their exes. Kind of creepy, no?
9. Kim Often Wears Fake Jewelry
Shocking, we know. Since her infamous robbery back in 2016, Kim admits that she doesn’t wear real jewelry when she goes out. The socialite was held at gunpoint by five armed robbers during her stay in Paris and had $10 million worth of jewelry stolen from her.
“The things I valued before that happened genuinely are completely different than what I value now. ‘Things’ don’t make me,” she said. Kim also added that she no longer keeps her jewelry at home.
10. Kim Blow-Dries her Jewelry Before Wearing It
Here’s a bizarre Kardashian fact that might make you scratch your heads. In the rare times that Kim does wear real jewelry, she apparently heats up it up with a blow dryer before wearing it, as she can’t handle the gold metals touching her skin.

11. Kourtney Drinks Ghee Every Morning
We’ve witnessed Kourtney’s strict diet antics and we know she’s all about health and wellness. But did you know her morning drinking habits are rather…strange?
At one point she was drinking clarified butter (Ghee) every morning; another time, she was focused on having beet juice as soon as her alarm went off; and more recently, she was taking a tablespoon of EVOO every AM.
12. Kim’s Biggest Fear are Stretch-Marks
During an episode of KUWTK, Kim revealed that she was so scared of the day she gets stretch marks. This just so happened in a conversation with Kourtney – who was pregnant at the time (urm, where’s the compassion, Kimmy?).
But with all that money, surely she doesn’t have to worry about a few marks?!
13. Friends Were Jealous of the Family
Blood runs thicker than water – more so in the Kardashian family! Apparently, during their rise to fame, many of the girls’ close friends were jealous of their success.
“Don’t you remember having so many haters of our friends? Our close friends were such haters and so jealous,” Kourtney said on the KUWTK Reunion.
Kris Jenner was even “shunned” by her pals, but they soon came running back as the seasons progressed. Khloe told her mom, “They really shunned you for a while and then by, like, season three or four, they all now want to be invited to her things.”
14. Their Makeup Takes an Hour and a Half
When all the Kardashian klan are getting ready for filming, it takes up to an hour and a half to get dolled up for the cameras.
However, if they are just getting ready to pop out, most of the girls will do their own makeup in less than 15 minutes.
15. Kris Refuses to be Called “Grandma”
You’ve probably heard the Kardashian kids call Kris Jenner “lovey” on the show, but did you know that it’s because she refuses to be called “grandma”? To avoid clichés, Kris created a cool nickname for her grandkids to call her by.
16. A Boy is to Blame for Kylie Cosmetics
Kylie Jenner’s beauty brand is now a multi-million dollar business, but do you know what really inspired the young star’s obsession with lip kits? A boy.
That’s right. Kylie has admitted that during her teenage days, she shared a kiss with someone who teased her for her small lips. From that day on, the reality star decided to outline her lips and eventually create a mega successful lip kit and cosmetics line.
17. Kim’s Favorite Junk Food is Deep Fried Oreos
Fun fact about the curvaceous Kardashian? Her diets aren’t all about salads and quinoa! Although Kim goes through phases of fad diets, she does allow herself to indulge in a little junk from time-to-time.
Her go-to junk food on her cheat days are deep-fried Oreos.
18. Kendall is the Easiest to Manage
During the KUWTK Reunion, Kris was forced to reveal who she believed was the hardest and easiest daughter to work with. Momager said that Kendall was the easiest, while Kourtney was the most difficult to manage.

19. Khloe Was Banned From Giving a Speech at Kimye’s Wedding
Even though the loud-mouthed Kardashian wanted to share her moments of joy with Kim’s guests, she was refused the honor of saying a few words.
Throughout the evening, Kanye teased his sis-in-law with a mic, because he knew how bad she wanted to embarrass the pair. Wouldn’t you have loved to hear Koko’s crazy speech?
20. The Kardashians are Armenian and Western European
Although not much of an unknown fact, it still comes as a surprise to some that the famous family are not actually American – well, by blood, at least.
Robert Kardashian, their father was Armenian, while Kris Jenner is of Dutch, English, Irish, German and Scottish descent! It seems the Kardashians’ nationality is a blend of Armenian and Western European!
21. Kourtney and Scott Would Still Be Together if it Weren’t for the Show
Before getting into a relationship with Travis Barker, Kourtney dropped a bomb during the KUWTK Reunion saying that she and Scott would still be together if it wasn’t for the show.
Apparently, sharing so much of their relationship to the world put an impact on their romance, but it was the “substance abuse that was the deal breaker”, she disclosed.
22. Kim Knows the Alphabet in Sign Language
Kim’s talents never fail to surprise us! The reality star admitted that she knows the entire alphabet in sign language, and used it to her advantage during her school years to cheat on exams with her friends.

It seems like the Kardashian girls never learn to keep their private life, well, private! Khloe revealed that she followed in Kim’s footsteps and recorded an adult-tape with ex-husband, Lamar Odom!

While Kris Jenner’s house was originally featured in the first seasons of the show, for security reasons, the producers later used other houses for exterior shots. The garden shots were actually the Kardashian’s property, though.
27. Kourtney Would Cry in the Bathroom During Season 1
The eldest Kardashian had a tough time when cameras invaded their house for the first filming of their reality TV show. She couldn’t hack the constant on-screen time and would take a time-out to cry quietly in the bathroom so that no one could hear her.
28. Kris Jenner Will Never Retire
“The devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder.” We’ve all heard that hilarious Kardashian joke. She may be in her late 60s, but Kris Jenner has admitted that she will never retire.
Talking about giving up work on The Kardashians, momager said, “My mother worked until she was 82. That’s such a great example for me of someone who lived her life to the fullest, and I really emulate that life that she’s had…To have something that keeps you going, I think that you live longer. Retirement is not a word I will ever use.”

30. Kendall and Kylie Still “Mourn” their Dad
Following Bruce Jenner’s shocking transition into Caitlyn in 2014, Kendall and Kylie have supported their father’s choice and continue to love her. But during the KUWTK Reunion, the girls shared that Caitlyn’s transition was “a bit of a loss” and that mourning “that person was hard”.
The sisters were “big daddy’s girls”, Kendall added, so “that transition was definitely hard for a moment.”
31. Khloe Felt Like the Background Sister
In a sad revelation, Khloe told host Andy Cohen during the KUWTK Reunion that the family’s reality show is what made her so insecure. “Interestingly enough, I was so confident and secure before the show. I became insecure because of everyone else telling me.”
The fashionista even disclosed that during photoshoots, Kim and Kourtney would receive bundles of clothes, while she would only be given “two or three pieces” because she would be placed in the background, anyway.
Khloe ended her revelation by saying, “I don’t want to people to feel like they have to be a certain size to be accepted.”
32. Kim and Kourtney’s Feud Goes Way Back
I mean, we’ve watched Kim and Kourtney fight it out (literally) throughout their reality shows. But perhaps the tension between them has been brewing since they were teens.
Kris revealed on their show that when they were teenagers, Kourtney actually crashed Kim’s classroom, demanding that she have her jeans back. Now that’s what you call sister rivalry…
33. Kourtney Mourned Her Parents’ Separation for 5 Years
Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian’s split really hit home for eldest sister, Kourtney. So much so, that she wore black for five years to mourn their divorce.
Poor Kourt! Now we understand why co-parenting means so much to the star.
34. Kendall and Kylie Were Harassed by Paps
Celebrities are harassed by paparazzi everyday. But most haven’t been violated like Kendall and Kylie. When they were young girls, the TV stars were slut-shamed by cameramen, calling them “little dirty sluts,” shouting questions like, “Are you a whore just like your sister?” or “When are you guys gonna get naked, you little sluts.”
It gets worse.
Kylie even recalled a time when one photographer lay on the sidewalk to take a picture up her skirt. “I remember when I was 19, I was wearing this colorful dress, and as I’m getting in the car, the pap goes to…his stomach on the ground, gets his camera up my skirt and takes a picture,” she said [via The Kardashians], admitting that she felt “so violated.”
Kendall admits that she’s proud of herself and Kylie for growing into “really decent people” in spite of all the “weird, shi*ty things we’ve seen or experienced through our lives.”
35. Khloe Had a “Rare” Tumor
As seen on Season 3 of The Kardashians, money and fame doesn’t prevent health scares. Khloe revealed that she had removed a “rare” tumor from her cheek in 2022.
At first, she thought it was a zit, but it turned out to be melanoma – something that she also battled with as a teenager. Thankfully, after removing the mole, Khloe announced that she was cancer-free.
36. Kris Feels Guilty Pushing Her Kids to Fame
Kris has admitted to feeling guilty about pushing her children into the public eye.
Blaming herself for the backlash the Kar-Jenners face in the media, Kris confessed to Kim on The Kardashians, “We’ve built this amazing life for ourselves, and sometimes I feel like it can be a curse. Sometimes I feel like I’ve helped build something that can also be a burden…”
She continued, “The haters are so brutal sometimes, and I feel bad I’ve brought this element to our lives, and it’s hard, it’s a struggle…It weighs heavy on my heart a lot. I feel guilty of the other side of the coin. It can be very negative…I think this life we live, as beautiful as it is, we get blamed for everything…and I feel so bad for you guys that you have to bare that.”
